One day, when I first lived in Bavaria, Germany, after about 4 months (that’s FOUR, 4, VIER, months, duddles), whilst watching TV, something, all of a sudden, dawned on me… I’d seen it a million times before, but... (A) had not really noticed it properly before (... there were lots of things going on which, as a whole, I generally did not understand) and (B) I had made not made the connection. ... although, subconsciously, I had noted that there would be adverts, every time, after this *word*. It, like a blinding light on this fateful day, dawned on me ... that the word ‘Werbung’, meant 'ad-farkin-vert's'… and it came on every single freaking time... before the adverts. So, after 4 months of seeing it, I realised (FOR THE FIRST TIME), it was saying ‘... here come the adverts’! ... and then, it never went away... every freakin' time! |

BUT: On the other hand, theres not so much freedom for Germans. Ever tried to go to a Sauna in Britain? Yes, you are not supposed to take your clothes off! |

Good thing. :) Scotland is a great place to be, especially Edinburgh. I started volunteering with the National Trust for Scotland in August 2011 and really enjoyed my first month here: FESTIVAL TIME. Everywhere on the street and in random pubs free shows with comedy and good theatre on. Well Edinburgh and Glasgow are good places to party and have good nights out. The people are amazing and I think I do not lie, if I say u will get to know new people, sometimes even if you don’t want to. Thanks a lot for your last couple of minutes, and please do me a favour, go to Scotland, and hell yeah: enjoy it! |
